Ok, you have finally taken the plunge. You've started your own business, but how well do you know your business? Can you explain the finer points to new clients when they ask questions? How well do you field their questions? Do you still have questions yourself?
Sometimes it is a challenge to do and learn and work all at the same time. Getting to know your business needs to be as important as working your business. We sometimes feel overwhelmed when we are first starting off.
This is part of the challenge. It gets the adrenaline pumping. It is exciting to do something new. Sometimes we get so excited that we rush out there to spread the word... you see where I am going.
You can't spin your yarn without proper facts. Otherwise, giving out misinformation can be damaging. Damaging to the client, and damaging to you and your reputation. Sometimes when that is ruined there is no going back. Like wise you spend so much time cleaning up the mess, you lose precious time and money, and some clients are not coming back, if they feel you mislead them in someway innocence ignorance or not.
So always prepare yourself. Get all the facts about your products and services, and maybe get clear in your mind how far you are willing to go in providing that service.
Don't be afraid if you do not know an answer. Just tell them you will follow up with them, give them a time line as to when to expect that answer, and go do your research. Guessing can be very dangerous.
This is another reason why I like what I do. Finding information is easy. There is all kinds of information out there on direct selling and network marketing. You just pick your topic and go.
Now go get out there have fun make some new friends make some money and have fun.
